From proprietor of Liz’s Antique Hardware to executing her curatorial prowess at The Loft at Liz’s fine art gallery, Elizabeth Gordon is a modern day renaissance woman. The Loft (once her home) above her store, is now a cultural hub of LA – attracting incredibly diverse crowds to openings – giving Liz an opportunity to speak Japanese, French, Italian and Spanish and to cook her famous gourmet food with fresh ingredients from her beautiful organic garden.

MARGO CANDELA
Escaping the rough barrios of East LA, author Margo Candela – known for her modern women’s fiction written the old fashioned way – became the first member of her family to go to college. Since 2007, she’s published four novels. Her most recent book, Good-bye To All That, received Los Angeles Magazine’s 2010 Best of L.A. Best Beach Read. She’s charming, witty, and a SURVIVOR. Her life reads like a novel.

FRANCES ANDERTON
Considered one of the most influential people in LA’s architectural/design scene, Frances Anderton was raised in Bath, England, and moved here in 1991 to become editor of L.A. Architect. Now the host of KCRW’s DnA: Design and Architecture, she also is a producer of KCRW’s current affairs shows, To The Point, and Which Way, LA? — both hosted by Warren Olney. She is regular contributor to the New York Times, and is an outspoken visionary.
Frances fell in love with Los Angeles, and never looked back.

EARLEAN ANTHONY
Homeless for several years in downtown’s Skid Row, Earlean Anthony is now a playwright and actress with Dramastage-Qumran Theater Company, where she gives back to the Skid Row community. She has written two plays, Our Mother’s Daughters about the women of Skid Row and Stone In The Road. She is a member of the Macarthur Park Neighborhood Council and has her own internet radio show.
