INSECTICIDE AN ART EXHIBITION May 15 thru June 22, 2010
ARTIST STATEMENT
It is all about harmony in our life, when there is a constant grasshoppers’ or crickets’ chirping and buzzing in the grass. When there is a harmony, there is always a place for a miracle. It’s about serenity of life filled with grasshopper’s and cricket’s buzzing in the grass. It’s from my childhood. Still, when I hear that noise, I am happy. Aren’t all of us?

Savvas’s work in creating backgrounds for the top-rated Rugrats series and first feature film led to his appointment as Art Director on the second Rugrats film, Rugrats in Paris, which generated over one hundred fifty million dollars worldwide. In 2004 Savva was invited to Disney Studios as a digital background painter for Heffulamp and then in 2005 for Little Mermaid II.
