ARTIST STATEMENT
This body of work focuses on recycled materials as functional art. The light fixtures incorporate the use of solid materials such as glass, copper, steel and other recyclables. The materials are intuitively manipulated through processes including welding, cutting, drilling, & heating. This manipulation does not obscure the natural properties or identification of the materials.
