The work is there to illuminate, challenge and toy. Paintings are made, acting out as a ‘vibrational’ play. To define is to delineate, and to refine is to integrate. ‘Fluidity’, ‘harmony’, ‘returning’ and ‘learning how to fall and ascend’: all are recurring themes and dreams that vex me, and in turn make their way onto my canvases.
Notes on Colour
Colour (I prefer the ‘our’) is about our participation in the various combinations and vibrations, creating a dance of ‘masked allure’. Getting drunk on wine is like drinking in the beauty of carmine blood Red and letting it pool inside your soul and letting it mist your heart. Colour informs us in any, all or not at all.
